Community Guidelines

Be authentic, respect consent and privacy, keep people safe, and do not use AI or social tools to deceive or harm. These rules apply to public and private activity on Perk.
1. Safety first
Do not threaten, praise or facilitate violence, terrorism, self-harm, dangerous challenges or criminal activity. Credible imminent threats may be escalated to emergency services where legally permitted. Perk is not an emergency service.
2. Respect people
No harassment, stalking, bullying, doxxing, coercion, blackmail, hate speech or dehumanising content based on protected characteristics. Do not coordinate attacks or repeatedly contact someone who has said no or blocked you.
3. Sexual safety and minors
No child sexual exploitation or grooming, sexualisation of minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, sextortion, trafficking or sexual services. Never create or share synthetic sexual content depicting a real person without explicit consent. Apparent child sexual abuse material is reported as required by law.
4. Privacy and identity
Do not impersonate people or organisations, publish private identifiers, record calls without legally required consent, or access another account. Parody and fan accounts must be clearly labelled. Obtain permission before posting another person's private content.
5. Authentic content and AI
Do not use bots, coordinated fake engagement, deceptive synthetic media or AI agents to mislead people about identity, authority, evidence or events. Label realistic synthetic or materially altered media when a reasonable viewer could mistake it for authentic. Never present an AI companion as a licensed professional or conscious human.
6. Fraud, spam and commerce
No scams, phishing, pyramid schemes, fake jobs, manipulated reviews, money laundering, counterfeit goods, unsolicited bulk messages or attempts to move users into suspicious payment flows. Promotions and commercial communications must be lawful and clearly disclosed.
7. Illegal and regulated goods
Do not offer illegal drugs, weapons, stolen data, fraudulent documents or other prohibited goods. Alcohol, gambling, financial products and other regulated activity must follow applicable law, age restrictions and any feature-specific rules.
8. Intellectual property
Share only content you have the right to use. We respond to sufficiently detailed copyright and trademark reports and may act against repeat infringement.
9. Enforcement and appeals
Perk may remove, reduce distribution, label or age-gate content; disable features; suspend or terminate accounts; preserve evidence; and notify authorities where required. We consider context, severity, intent, harm and history. Users may appeal through the notice they receive or at [email protected].
10. Reporting
Use in-product report and block tools where available. For illegal-content notices, identify the content or account, explain the legal or guideline issue, provide the exact location and include accurate contact information. Knowingly abusive reports may themselves violate these rules.
